Nice Airport Access
Nice Airport is southwest of Nice, about 4 miles (6 kilometers) from the centre of the city. As the airport borders the Mediterranean Sea you’re not far from the beach if you want to have a swim after your flight!
The airport is off the A8 Autoroute (Motorway), exit 51 and is well signposted when you exit the Autoroute.
Should you be driving from the airport both the A8 Autoroute and Nice are well signposted at and near the airport.
There is regular direct bus 99 service from the airport to the Nice train station and service between the airport and the Nice bus station. The 98 bus that runs between the airport and bus station also has many local stops. There are also regular buses to Cannes and Monaco.
Both terminals of Nice Airport have a taxi rank in front.
You can also bicycle or walk to get to Nice Airport.
Nice has a bike hire scheme - Velo bleu. There is a station near the airport.
If you are looking for a pleasant drive into Nice try La Promenade des Anglais road. It might be hard to find when you exit the airport, it’s the road that goes from in front of Terminal 1 and runs along the Mediterranean Sea. There are signs at the airport for La Promenade des Anglais road. If you exit the airport and are driving with the Mediterranean to your right you’re on the Promenade des Anglais. To get to the centre of Nice using the Promenade des Anglais you will need turn left at some point. There are signs for the centre of Nice when you get on La Promenade des Anglais but if you want to enjoy the drive better to stay on La Promenade des Anglais and go into the centre later.
